Last night I had the great fortune to see the Darryl Beaton Band at a small "live house" - Planet K in Kichijoji. And unbelievably, the cover was only 2000 yen.

Darryl Beaton Band

This Australian band blew my mind. Definitely one of the hottest bands I've ever seen.

Check this band out while you can still get up close because I got the feeling that the next time they come to Tokyo, you'll be sitting in the back of the Budokan, or paying 20,000 yen at the Blue Note.

Today's theme is rock, rock, and more rock. Featuring two great bands that I recently came across. Yunakichi, and Bad Clover.

And stick around till the very end of the podcast because Daiki has a surprise for you. Well, that's not entirely true...Actually Daiki has TWO surprises for you.

On today's episode I Introduce my new music download and social networking site - Jindies.com.

There's a little bit of everything in this show: one promo from a fellow podcaster; one call for a little bit of Christmas Spirit. A lot of good music. And I play some tunes by some hot Jindies bands that are appearing very soon in Tokyo.

Also, at the very end of the show is a new song by Daiki that just arrived in my inbox from Toronto.
