It's September 7th and this was going to be my my 50th, and  special "End of Summer" show for this personal milestone. Steve Gardner

The 49th WHIT podcast

It's August 25th and today we have a lot of variety. That's because I did a lot of recording at Inokashira park and at other places so that I could bring you some music, interspersed with some traditional Japanese sounds of summer. Also, WHIT had some audio feedback to the '8 Questions MP3 Player Giveaway'. And since this was the first person to answer the '8 Questions', he will receive an MP3 player. The answers are about 12 minutes into the podcast.

About eighteen and a half minutes in, Stan and Jim are back at Frustration Station after a long vacation. Stan has a funny story about a screw-up at a wedding ceremony. So stay plugged-in.

The band, bar and Event listings are about 21 minutes in.

About fourteen and a half minutes in, Stan and Jim are at Frustration Station, talking about their pet peeves. The Band, Bar, and Event listings are about 21 and a half minutes in.

The 40th WHIT podcast

It's May 28th and this is the last in a series of podcasts featuring some of the artists that performed during the Kichijoji Music festival.

During today's show, Michie & l stop by the Mishima Cafe. Mishima Cafe has some of the tenderest yakitori I've eaten. They also have a happy hour from 5 to 6pm with a large glass of Ebisu beer for 210 yen.

The spotlighted artist today, is Yoko Kose. The live performance in this show was recorded on May 4th in front of the Seiyu department store during the Kichijoji Music festival.

The second tune by Yoko Kose is titled 'Yume wa Yume no mama de' and was taken from her CD of the same name.

At the end of the show, we end up in a very special club (and now my favorite) that I discovered during the Kichijoji Music Festival.
